About the Instructor

Nick Talwar

Nick Talwar began his software engineering journey 15 years ago at Microsoft Windows.

Since then, he's had CTO and executive positions at startups in the consumer mobile and healthcare industries.

He also founded Bottega8, a software agency that, over the past decade, has collaborated with both rising startups and industry leaders like Square and Disney. Currently, Nick is passionate about addressing the gap in understanding and implementing AI in organizations through developing an AI leadership curriculum at EngLeadership.ai.

His experience in AI and machine learning had its foundations in research at Duke University backed by Boeing and DARPA, and work at Microsoft Windows Search and Recommendations as well as time as CTO of SleepSpace, an NIH-grant funded AI and machine learning platform to improve sleep.

The AI leadership curriculum just completed its inaugural cohort this past summer of professional engineers and product leaders looking to level-up with AI.

It is a standards-based curriculum that has been supported with feedback from AI and ML leaders.
